Leatrix Latency Fix is a program that changes Windows 7's networking settings to send TCP acknowledgements more frequently. Leatrix Latency Fix is often used by players of multiplayer online role-playing games such as World of Warcraft, Rift and Aion. Windows 7 and other versions of Windows delay sending some TCP response packets by default. The tweak results in Windows sending an acknowledgement packet immediately after receiving each TCP packet from game servers, reducing the latency, or delay, that players experience in online games.
